Daddy duty: Josh, 42, kept a firm hold of the tot as he appeared to be from ready for a nap
Axl, who turns two in August, appeared to be in an energetic mood after his play-date and wriggled in Josh's arms as he spotted something interesting in the distance.
On Wednesday Josh indulged his inner geek at the E3 Electronic Entertainment Expo in LA and brought Axl along for the fun, who happily sat in dad's lap as he played video games.
Josh plays the voice of High Volt in the new Skylanders SuperChargers video game, which will be released on Sept. 20.
The father-of-one revealed to People that his toddler son is exploring his new found sweet tooth.
