Palace fit for a pop prince: Justin Bieber snaps up a luxury house for $6m
By Kerry Mcqueeney
He was said to be on the hunt for the perfect luxury home. And, by the looks of things, he's found it.
This sprawling California mansion is reportedly the new home of pop sensation Justin Bieber.
The singer was thought to have snapped up this $6million property in Calabasas after narrowing down his search to three properties.
At one point Bieber was thought to have been eyeing up the home currently being rented by Ashton Kutcher.
However, the pair could have ended up in a bidding war after it emerged Kutcher was interested in securing the house for himself.
It would seem, though, that Bieber was won over by this property.
Boasting a large pool, a huge guest house and an ample garage, it is likely the singer's girlfriend Selena Gomez will be spending a considerable amount of time there.
It is likely the star will be splashing the cash to make the property state-of-the-art, including installing the latest high-tech gadgets.
Reports earlier this month suggested Bieber hopes to instal a computerised system which will allow him to have control of his home at his fingertips, from the bathtub to the blinds.
He is also said to be planning to install his own home cinema theatre as well as a games room - described as a 'teenage boy's bedroom' - featuring the latest consoles and old arcade machines.
Bieber's new single was released today, creating a storm on Twitter soon after among Bieber's fans.
The track - titled 'Boyfriend' - was available to buy on iTunes shortly after midnight.
Bieber himself used Twitter to whip his 19 million followers into a frenzy in the lead up to the single's release, posting tweets counting down to midnight.

In a supportive tweet, Bieber told The Wanted: 'Heard you fools killed it on Leno tonight. Gonna check it out. Well done mates!'

JUSTIN BIEBER IN OSPEDALE A LONDRA
